Unsold books slated to be donated to the family who accepted the same last year and is involved in establishing a library in the Phillipines
Opportunity for developing a pen pal program with that community discussed
Book Swap shelf made available at the Pitt Stop
Nancy Blessing and Sharon Mayer have gained some familiarity with the online lending of books via www.listenupvermont.org

Plans to initiate RCML participation in program once more volunteers become familiar with  the downloading procedure discussed
Decision made to purchase 2 MP3 players to lend to library members for downloading of books

Book Club suspended due to declining participants
Community Dinner/Fund Raiser/Opportunity to award Susie Martin Volunteer Award discussed, date and venue undecided
Vermont Humanities Council Reading & Discussion Programs discussed, adequate number of participants questionable, possibility of pairing with other small library suggested
Library after school program slated for Tuesday afternoons 3:30 to 5:00 ,  starting  October 28th with pumpkin carving
Angelique Lee present a rough draft of possible programs through December
More ideas and volunteers needed  for continued success with after school program
Sharon Mayer volunteered to distribute free books at the library  to Trick or Treaters on Halloween
