**As some of you know we have to raise at least $300 to take advantage of our CLiF sponsorship. This will provide over 100 new library bound children's books for our library. To raise money the Swiss Farm has generously offered to hold a fund raising dinner. The dinner will be on November 2nd at 6pm. The cost is $16 (children $8) for soup, salad, dinner and desert. Please call the Swiss Farm 746-8341 to make a reservation.
**Our Tuesday after school program is scheduled to start up in mid October. This program will be for anyone 2nd grade or older and will start at 3:30 (or whenever you get off the bus) and finish by 5pm. Younger children may participate with the help of their parents. Programs may include pumpkin carving, art projects, speakers, cooking, and tree decorating.
**Our Saturday morning kids program will continue for another two months. Bring your kids Saturdays from 9:30 to 10:30 for stories, crafts and time at the playground.
**Book club continues, this month's book is "On Kingdom Mountain" by Vermont author Howard Frank Mosher. We will meet to talk about it October 2nd at 6:30 pm. If you'd like to order the book through us call Sharon at 746-9962 or e mail at gashala@verizon.net
**Look for the library book sale on the Pittsfield Green during the Pittsfield Bazaar Spetember 29th.
